My Story
I've been an Executive Coach since 2005, post-grad qualified and self-employed since 2013. A Listening Life is the podcast I wish I'd had in the first few years when I was making a meal out of self-employment!
I now run several businesses and finally feel as if I've got the hang of things. I still make plenty of mistakes, who doesn't - and I now know they're part of the game.

I'm upset to hear so many coaches are struggling to get their balance in the freelance world and believe we have to step up to develop the business skills of coaches, if we're going to have the powerful and wonderful impact on the world that coaching could bring.

I really hope you find the podcast useful.
My giant thanks to all the incredible guests who've freely shared their wisdom and insights.
They're all so individual and different from each other, I have no doubt that one or more of these episodes will bring value to any freelance coach, or to someone considering making the leap.

The trailer to the podcast is a good way to hear me speak, and get a feel for whether it might be useful.

The brave truth is also that the podcast may help you decide to leave the freelance life and return to a job. This is no failure. I'd consider that a success. The freelance life is not for everyone, and sometimes shortening the period of agony, deciding what to do, would be a huge relief.
Thank you for reading this far, and I hope to connect with you somewhere soon.
All the very best of luck and good wishes for your freelance coaching business as you build A Listening Life.
